Why do I get goosebumps when I hear live music?
So every time when I hear someone sing live, I get goosebumps. It works every single time. For example, when I attend a concert, they sing live and the hair on my arm stands up. Or another time would be when I heard Lindsay Lohan’s "Confessions of a Broken Heart". When I first heard thay song, I got goosebumps, but I had no idea why because I thought it was just a music video on tv. But later I found out that she recorded the song in her room, there was no editing to the song so it was basically really raw, live music. Why do I get this? Is this normal or is it cuz I’m just weird?

Sounds like you are moved emotionally by live music and it causes a physical response in you.
……maybe you liked the song or didnt liked it…..
you might be in love and that particular song and others that reflect your position might make you ‘feel’ a certain way
Not weird, it’s awesome! You have a special bond with music. It does something to you–deep in your soul (corny, but it’s true) and it really moves you.
Maybe you should consider a career in music? Wouldn’t it be great to go to a job that would make you feel that way?
I believe that you are lucky!! Music thrills you!! As a child, certain songs did, like "Venus" by Frankie Avalon, and "It’s All In The Game" by Tommy Edwards.
I now sing, and those songs in particular I have been able to turn women on with! There is a connection…
and they feel it!
drug withdrawals
Yes sometimes that happens to me, too. I think its a remant of centuries of music being used to motivate people whether toward good or bad, religious or not all music affects you. Some especially live music just grabs you by the core of your being and kinda startles the rest of you. Thus hair on end .
yeah its normal, i think (but im not sure) its because you get excited and your body releases adrenalin. same with when youre scared, you get goose bumps because your body also releases adrenalin in that situation
probably your wanting to be a singer yourself and you hear someone live and it touches you. And you also love music esp. when its live ,me too.
